In the wilderness, a trying test,
Fiery serpents, a venomous pest.
God's people grumbled, their faith worn thin,
Their hearts grown hard, their patience thin.
God's judgment came, a painful bite,
The venom's sting, a deadly fright.
They cried to Moses, for help they sought,
Repentance true, their only thought.
God's mercy shown, a healing plan,
A bronze serpent, lifted by a man.
Look and live, a message clear,
Faith in God, dispelling fear.
Numbers Chapter 21, a lesson learned,
In God's faithfulness, a heart that's turned.
From grumbling to trust, from fear to grace,
God's salvation, in every place.
