ArtistAfter a playful proposal from school bullies to decapitate the Springfield statue of Jebediah, Bart seriously decided to commit an act of vandalism in order to raise his authority. The very next day, Bart becomes convinced of the stupidity of his action, especially when he finds out whose head it is. Worried about his behavior, Bart reveals the secret to his parents, and Homer promises to protect him from the angry residents. Fortunately, the townspeople responded to Bart's request and listened to the story of his action. At the end of the story, their anger subsided, Bart received forgiveness, and the head of the statue returned to its original place.
