ArtistAfter a wild blizzard dumped a record 90 inches of snow on New York City, the city is buried in snow. High winds have built up enormous drifts, burying parked cars and street signs, and covering the first and even the second floor windows of many buildings. All streets are covered in deep snow, making the Blizzard of ‘88 seem trivial. The blizzard wind has blown long drifts out in front of the “I Love NY” statue, creating elongated letter shapes in the snow.
A snowy urban scene captures cars buried in deep snowdrifts, while towering buildings loom in the background. The atmosphere is cold and wintry, creating a surreal, tranquil landscape.
