Hergé's Tintin and Snowy in hell
Tintin and Snowy standing on a rocky ledge in the foreground, Tintin wearing his classic blue sweater, brown trousers, white socks, and brown shoes, with a surprised expression as he exclaims “Milou!... Nous sommes en enfer!...” in a speech bubble. Snowy, a small white terrier with perked ears and a curled tail, stands beside him looking ahead. To their left, a wooden signpost reads “ENFER” with an arrow pointing right. The background depicts a hellish landscape: fiery orange-red skies, black smoke billowing from jagged volcanic peaks, rivers of glowing lava, and tortured souls screaming in agony. Demons with horns, bat wings, tridents, and pitchforks torment the damned — some chained to rock walls, others being whipped or dragged into flames. A large demonic figure labeled “LUCIFER” looms above a gated archway, grinning menacingly. The ground is littered with skulls and bones. The entire scene is rendered in bold-lined, vintage European comic book style with saturated colors and dramatic lighting, evoking Hergé’s Tintin aesthetic merged with medieval depictions of Hell.
