Perched atop the cathedral for over five centuries, this gargoyle has watched the ages unfold in solemn stone silence - the rise and fall of empires, revolutions, and renaissances. But recently, it has started laughing - so loud, so long, and so utterly undone. Because, seen from its unblinking perch, the world below has become a carnival of nonsense. Souls once stirred by stars and scriptures now scroll for likes with zombie thumbs. Wonder is traded for Wi-Fi, observation replaced by selfies, and wisdom outsourced to influencers. Faith runs on algorithms, and truth is just some trend with an expiry date. And so the gargoyle, carved in an age of awe, finds itself shaking with mirth - not in joy, but in disbelief. It laughs, not because the world is funny, but because... it is too late to cry.
