A brightly colored painted bunting bird perched on a lichen-covered branch, its head turned slightly upwards with its beak open as if singing or calling, against a soft-focus background of vibrant green foliage. The bird's head is a rich sapphire blue, with a narrow band of dark pink-red below its eye and extending towards its throat, contrasting with its dark red eye.
