ArtistThe year is 50 BC, in Gaul—a land almost entirely occupied by the Romans—specifically in the region of Armorica. A group of four Gallic druids is stopped by a patrol of Roman legionaries. The lead druid raises his hand, mimicking the "mind trick" gesture of a Jedi Master. He is tall and gaunt, dressed in a white druidic robe with a golden sickle hanging from his belt and a long red cloak; in his facial features and long white beard, he bears a striking resemblance to the druid Getafix. As he performs the gesture, he says, "These aren't the druids you're looking for!" Behind him stand the other druids: one is tall and thin with a short white beard, wearing a white-and-yellow robe and a golden-yellow cloak—his face and posture vaguely reminiscent of C-3PO (though he is a human, not a robot!). Beside him is a shorter, stouter druid in a white-and-blue robe with a blue cloak; his head, face, and build are vaguely reminiscent of R2-D2 (again, a human, not a robot!). Finally, there is a very youthful druid apprentice in a white tunic, whose face and physique are vaguely reminiscent of a young Luke Skywalker. All of them, however, are Gallic druids—and human beings! The druids are accompanied by an awesome, majestic, male, furry brown tabby cat, which gazes at the Roman soldiers in a cheeky and challenging manner with its sparkling green cat eyes.. The Roman patrol consists of a rather dim-witted, bewildered-looking centurion and three other Roman legionaries of the era. It is a funny and humorous scene. It is a sunny, golden October day in Gaul; everything is taking on an autumnal look. At the edge of the forest, one can spot two wild boars giggling in the undergrowth, a curious squirrel up in a tree, and a hedgehog seeking cover.
