In Judges Chapter 2, a tale of woe,
God's people strayed, their faith laid low.
They turned from Him, to idols' glow,
And faced the consequences that would grow.
The cycle repeated, a pattern grim,
God's people wandered, their faith grew dim.
He sent them judges, to rescue them,
Yet they fell back to idols' whim.
With Joshua gone, their hearts did stray,
But God's love never faded away.
He raised up judges, to guide their way,
And call them back, to not delay.
In Judges Chapter 2, a lesson taught,
God's faithfulness can never be bought.
He longs for hearts with faith so sought,
To trust in Him, as they ought.
So let us learn from Judges' plight,
To keep our faith in God's pure light.
To turn from idols, with all our might,
And walk in His ways, day and night.
