During Christopher Street Day celebrations, someone drove a car into a crowd, killed one person and injured 29. Most probably, from all what we know by now, the attack had an Islamist motive.

This is a dark day for queer people.
And this is a dark day for all the many peaceful people living in Germany who are read as Muslim, or Oriental, or Arab. Because they might encounter a hate that they don't deserve.
Please don’t confuse “foreign” with “dangerous".

This day has cast a shadow on queer life.
But, like any other acts of hate before, it cannot extinguish the bright, colorful fire of queer vitality. Love wins.
