Artist
One Month ago, on August 14th 2026, the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama died, aged 97. I came across her work quite late, only last year, but I find it really fascinating. So I'm going to experiment a bit creating a couple of tribute dreams.

Five young women, two with light brown hair, two with dark brown hair, and one with blonde hair, are posing in a brightly lit grocery store produce section. The store is designed with a green and red polka-dotted floor and green walls with red polka dots and yellow hearts. They are all wearing matching shiny black cropped short-sleeved tops, shiny black short skirts, and long yellow stockings with black polka dots, paired with black platform boots.
The blonde woman stands on the left, holding a strawberry to her mouth as if eating it, with another strawberry in her other hand. To her right, a dark-haired woman with a high ponytail sits on a large pumpkin, her arm resting on the head of a red-haired woman who is kneeling on the floor, looking up at the camera. In the center, another dark-haired woman with a high ponytail kneels next to a pumpkin, looking slightly to her left. On the far right, a blonde woman stands behind the kneeling dark-haired woman, her hands resting on the kneeling woman's shoulders, looking straight ahead.
The produce shelves on both sides of the women are filled with an abundance of colorful fresh vegetables and fruits, including red and yellow bell peppers.
