More about A Warrior's March - Numbers Chapter 31 Poem

The battle cries, the swords in hand,
As Israel marched to a foreign land,
Their foes they faced, their faith held strong,
They fought with valor all day long.
With Moses' guidance, they pressed ahead,
Their enemies trembled with fear and dread,
A nation conquered, victory won,
Their mission complete as the setting sun.
But amidst the triumph, a somber tone,
For lives were lost, and tears were sown,
In Numbers Thirty-One, a tale of war,
Of courage, loss, and faith galore.
So let us remember those who fought,
Their sacrifice, with honor, sought,
For in their valor, we find our way,
To stand for justice, come what may.
