Inspired byAbstract Impressionism with large impasto strokes- Dynamic close-up action at the start of a Sunfish sailboat race. Sailors have hardened up and are hiking out fully before crossing the starting line at full speed to windward. The starting line is long with a dozen boats jockeying for a favorable position. A committee boat is at the ready at the windward end of the line with the starting horn. It is a beautiful crisp day with perfect sailing conditions. Manned by 20 year old guys
