ArtistA contemplative fine-art portrait of a young adult woman in a deeply patterned blanket, knees drawn to chest, gazing wistfully through a rain-streaked window, cradling a warm drink. Rendered in a fusion of sumi-e ink painting, abstract expressionism, watercolor, and contemporary figurative realism. Flowing ink, gestural brushwork, and subtle distortions, with a face of delicate realism. Hair with loose ink strokes. Rain-covered window with droplets and blurred exterior. Palette of antique ivory, sepia, charcoal, slate blue, dusty rose, sage, golden amber. Deliberate negative space, asymmetrical balance. Quiet, intimate, melancholic atmosphere. Sophisticated fine-art execution, luminous watercolor, rich pigment layering, emotionally evocative imperfections. Contemporary Japanese ink-and-watercolor painting on textured archival paper.
The rain whispers against the glass,
while I gather the silence around me.
A warm cup rests between my hands,
but it is your warmth I miss the most.
Outside, the world dissolves in grey;
inside, your absence fills the room.
I pull the blanket a little closer,
and dream of being held by you.
