Artist((Masterpiece)) impasto Rose
Quick
Today's 15 min art is an entry level rose on top of a coat of paint - entry level example of cheap oils turning to mud. Entry Level. The replacement cheapo paints obtained, again or a big disappointment in mixture and impasto. Cadmium orange especially turns everything into mud very quickly. Shades of Gray, shades of brown. This first endeavor back to impasto, slight;- highlights the disappointment of applying and mixing more colors. Using beginner-grade mini sets of oil paint. Even for throw aways and practice can be difficult. Building a good set of paints, even minimally for mixing has already been decided. Using beginner paints for thin burst stroke and washes is annoying but more ideal for the quality.

One bud is tightly closed, while the other is slightly open, revealing its crimson petals. The background behind the large rose and to its lower left consists of dark green foliage, rendered with soft brushstrokes, suggesting depth and more plant life.
The upper half of the painting depicts a dramatic and painterly sky. The colors transition from a light, almost iridescent yellow-green in the
