ArtistA dynamic reimagining of the La Bandera Loteria card featuring a realistic photograph the large Mexican flag flying over the city of Piedras Negras on a beautiful sunny afternoon. A few picturesque clouds dot the sky. The card has an intricate border and the words "La Bandera" at the bottom and the number 16 in the top left corner.
Part of my Loteria card series.
This reimagined Loteria card showcases a vibrant photograph of a large Mexican flag waving over Piedras Negras under a sunny sky, framed by an ornate border and detailed with cinematic lighting.
Card verse:
"Verde blanco y colorado, la bandera del soldado."
English translation:
"Green, white, and red, the flag of the soldier."
The name of the city Piedras Negras translates to "Black Rocks", named for the historical coal industry in the area. The city claims the honor of having the largest Mexican flag in the world and also the birth of the classic nachos of cheese and jalapeños on chips. Piedras Negras is located across the US / Mexico border from Eagle Pass, Texas and is a beautiful and vibrant city that is in many ways nicer than the city on the US side.
