Two elderly women with white curly hair, one in a lavender dress and one in a pink dress and striped tights, are sitting in armchairs and laughing while holding teacups in a room with a whimsical, distorted perspective where furniture is hanging upside down from the ceiling. A grumpy-looking fluffy grey cat with a collar is sitting on a plush cushion on the floor in front of a fireplace. The room is richly decorated with a grand chandelier, several antique clocks, framed portraits, and ornate light fixtures. A large window with flowing pink drapes reveals an inverted cityscape outside. A small round table with a teapot and teacup is placed between the two women, who are both wearing multiple pearl necklaces and earrings. The floor is covered by an intricately patterned rug. The overall style is reminiscent of a detailed watercolor illustration with a touch of fantasy.
