Inspired byAn impasto style painting of a white stone arch bridge in image 1 crossing a quiet canal in Venice in image 2. The bridge, built from textured blocks of light stone, has one curved arch through which the distant water and a single gondola are visible. Along the top of the bridge, a brilliant display of lilac wisteria in bloom spills over the balustrade in a cascade. Two small stone urns with pink flowers stand on the bridge posts. The bridge is reflected in the canal water. The canal reflects the soft, neutral palette of the sky. The thick, visible brushstrokes define the textures of the stone, water and flowers.
Impasto oil painting of a Venetian canal with an arched stone bridge covered in cascading purple wisteria flowers, flanked by weathered buildings with warm-toned stucco and dark green shutters, a lone gondola in the water beneath the bridge, and clear sky with textured cloud brushstrokes.
