ArtistThe Fly Agaric Festival and the Circus Hedgehog Every year, when the first autumn leaves began to fall, Mushroom Land became a riot of color and celebration. It was time for the annual Fluesvamp Festival! The hedgehogs had been waiting all year for this day, when the whole forest gathered to celebrate the many, beautiful mushrooms. This year there was a very special surprise. One of the hedgehogs, Pelle, had been practicing all summer for something very special. He had learned to ride a unicycle and juggle striped cones, just like a real circus clown! Pelle had been inspired by an old circus poster he had found in a hole in a tree. When it was Pelle's turn to perform , everyone became completely quiet. Pelle wheeled forward on his unicycle, balancing on one wheel. He juggled the striped cones so they danced up in the air and down again. All the other animals clapped and cheered. Pelle had become a star in Mushroom Land! After Pelle's performance, there was dancing and music all night long. The hedgehogs danced around the large fly agaric while eating delicious mushroom sandwiches and drinking fresh mushroom juice. It was the best party they had ever been to.
In Mushroom Land, the vibrant Fluesvamp Festival celebrates mushrooms with joy and surprises. Pelle, a hedgehog, wows the crowd with circus skills, becoming a star amidst dancing and merriment under the fly agaric.
