A solemn looking old man staring longingly out his apartment window, seeing younger crowds of people rushing about in their busy lives. You can almost see either regret or envy in his eyes, but mostly sadness. there is a picture of him and his late wife when they were younger on their wedding day.
An elderly man with receding white hair and a visible age spot on his forehead gazes out a large window, his left hand open with fingers splayed against the wet glass, as if reaching out to the rainy city street below. He wears a light brown knit cardigan over a collared shirt and dark gray pants and is seated in a worn, tan armchair with visible tears in the fabric, particularly on the armrest closest to the window. To his left, on a small wooden side table, sits a framed black and white photograph of a young man and woman in wedding attire, smiling; the woman wears a veil and pearl necklace, and the man a tuxedo with a bow tie. The table is also cluttered with stacks of papers and books. Outside the window, the blurred street scene reveals yellow taxi cabs, pedestrians crossing a crosswalk, and other buildings, all under a wet, dreary sky. Rain streaks and droplets are clearly visible on the windowpane.
