Amateria (not quite the rollercoaster age)

More about Amateria (not quite the rollercoaster age)

Not quite the rollercoaster age I expected, though I checked my spelling with Bing (I never use Google for safety reasons). Recently I've been going through the old Myst ages (levels) again, starting from Myst and its four ages, then Riven (with the 5 CDROMS you have to keep swapping during play), and Exile (Myst 3). Amateria is the "physics" level, consisting of four roller coaster puzzles, and you get to ride the whole thing at the end. Saavedro (the hero of the level) was physically abused by Sirrus and Achenar (Atrus and Catherine's sons) and thus wound up Atrus by stealing the manuscript for "Releeshahn", the level Atrus wrote to rehouse the D'ni civilization (the Rivenese civilisation were rehoused in Tay). Better not say more, in order not to spoilerize anybody who hasn't played it yet :)
