Composition: A heavily overweight, good-natured man who radiates kindness — the kind people call "a real pal" — in a white jacket, shirt unbuttoned so his undershirt shows, big belly, red cheeks, mouth open in a broad smile, wraps his arm around the waist of his thin and scrawny friend, since he is shorter and wider than him. His tall friend in a grey suit and tie (an intellectual) is being squeezed a little too tightly — his face is flushed, his eyes are rolled up, his tongue is out, and he is desperately trying to catch his breath.
