Before Morning Coffee

More about Before Morning Coffee

A vibrant and expressive mixed media painting featuring a snarling wolf's head as the central subject. The wolf's fur is rendered with a realistic yet painterly quality, showcasing shades of gray, white, and black, with hints of blue, yellow, and pink brushed into the fur, particularly around the ears and forehead. Its piercing yellow eyes stand out against the darker tones of its face. The mouth is open slightly, revealing a pink tongue, white fangs, and lower teeth, conveying an impression of fierceness or excitement. The wolf's head is framed by a dynamic and abstract background composed of geometric shapes and brushstrokes in various colors including black, red, yellow, blue, and teal. There are also thin black lines, some straight and some curved, crisscrossing the background, resembling musical notes or abstract marks. Paint drips in black, blue, yellow, and red extend downwards from the wolf and the abstract elements. The overall style suggests street art or graffiti art integrated with traditional portraiture, set against a light, off-white or cream-colored canvas or wall.
