In a castle of grandeur, with walls painted gold,
Lived a princess so fair, with a spirit so bold.
Each night in her chambers, a mystery took place,
As she danced through the dark with grace and with grace.
Her gown spun like moonlight, her slippers like stars,
Her laughter echoed in the halls near and far.
Her steps were so light, her moves were so sweet,
But where did she go, with her dancing feat?
The king was perplexed, the queen was concerned,
The knights were amazed, as the princess they yearned.
They followed her footsteps, they searched high and low,
But the princess vanished, like a shadow in the glow.
One day a young lad, a humble young man,
Came to the castle with a clever plan.
He followed the princess, with stealth and with care,
And found a secret passage to a garden so rare.
There in the moonlight, he saw the princess dance,
Her joy and her beauty in a captivating trance.
He approached her with caution, with a heart full of awe,
And asked her to dance, without a single flaw.
The princess was startled, but soon she was charmed,
By the lad's gentle demeanor, and how he had swarmed.
They danced through the night, under the stars' gentle light,
And the princess found solace, in his presence so bright.
At dawn, they parted, but a promise they made,
To keep their love secret, in the castle's grand glade.
The mystery was solved, the princess found her joy,
In the arms of her true love, a simple country boy.
And so, the legend of the dancing princess spread,
A tale of love's magic, that no one could shed.
For in the castle's halls, and in the kingdom wide,
The princess and her lad, danced happily side by side.
