ArtistWashy loose watercolor of a couple in their apartment overlooking Central Park scene, evening depicted by Adrienne Segur
A watercolor painting captures a couple, seen from behind, gazing out a large window at a city skyline at dusk. The man, on the right, wears a white collared shirt and dark trousers, his hands in his pockets. The woman, on the left, has dark hair styled in an updo and wears a dark, backless dress. They are positioned in the center of the frame, facing away from the viewer.
Beyond the window, a cityscape unfolds with numerous tall buildings, their windows illuminated, suggesting evening or nightfall. In the foreground of the outdoor scene, lush green trees dominate, illuminated by scattered streetlights. The sky above is a gradient of blues and soft oranges, indicative of a sunset or sunrise.
The interior of the room is visible on either side of the couple. To the left, a cream-colored armchair with a brown throw pillow is partially visible. A round vase with white flowers sits on a table in front of it. Further back, a wooden side table holds a lamp with a warm glowing shade, a framed picture, and a larger framed artwork hanging on the wall. Sheer, light-colored curtains drape near the window.
