ArtistA close-up shot of a creamy white water lily with a bright yellow center, floating on a dark pond surface, surrounded by several green and reddish-green lily pads, with its reflection visible in the still water below it.
An overhead, close-up, and highly-detailed painting of a white lotus flower with yellow center, its petals and several lily pads around it are outlined in gold and intricate gold patterns. The flower's reflection is clearly visible in the water, which also reflects a multi-colored background of purples, blues, yellows, and green hues. The water is depicted with thick brushstrokes and has a shimmering, iridescent quality, especially under the lotus. The lily pads vary in color from green to reddish-purple, some of them showing veins outlined in gold, and one lily pad in the lower-right foreground features an elaborate gold floral pattern with the initials "SK" inside an oval. The background of the painting, beyond the water, appears to be lush with green and brown foliage, subtly reflected in the water, creating a harmonious and vibrant scene. The painting style is expressive and textured, with a clear emphasis on line work and rich color.
