More about The Greatest Commandment - Deuteronomy 6 Poem

Deuteronomy Chapter 6, a message so divine,
A call to love the Lord with heart and mind.
To heed His commandments, day and night,
And walk in His ways, with all our might.
"Love the Lord with all your heart," He said,
With passion and devotion, so richly spread.
With every beat, with every breath,
To love Him fiercely, beyond life and death.
"Teach these commandments to your kin," He spoke,
To pass down His truth, like an eternal cloak.
To teach our children, both young and old,
God's Word, a treasure worth more than gold.
"Write them on your heart," He implored,
Let His commands be forever stored.
A guide for life, a compass true,
To steer our steps, and keep us anew.
"Bind them on your hand," He declared,
Let His commands be ever prepared,
To guide our actions, our deeds and ways,
And keep us on His path, all of our days.
"Fix them on your doorposts," He decreed,
Let His commands be our creed,
To remind us every day and night,
Of His love and truth, a guiding light.
Deuteronomy Chapter 6, a call so grand,
To love the Lord, and follow His command.
With heart and soul, with all our might,
To walk in His ways, in His perfect light.
So let us cherish God's greatest command,
To love Him with all we are, as He planned.
And let His Word, our hearts transform,
As we journey with Him, safe and warm.
