Deuteronomy Chapter 8, a lesson to be learned,
About God's faithfulness, so greatly earned.
A reminder to remember, and never forget,
The blessings of obedience, a divine duet.
In the wilderness, God led the way,
For forty years, both night and day.
He provided manna, bread from above,
To sustain His people with His boundless love.
Their clothes did not wear out, their feet did not swell,
God's provision abounded, in a miraculous spell.
A lesson in humility, to trust in His care,
To rely on His faithfulness, always aware.
But caution was given, a warning sound,
To not forget God's blessings profound.
To not grow proud, or forget His ways,
But to remember His goodness, all their days.
"For it is God who gives you power," He said,
To create wealth, to be amply fed.
But not by their strength, or human might,
But by His grace, His mercies bright.
So let us remember, as we journey on,
The blessings of obedience, from dusk till dawn.
To trust in God's faithfulness, with grateful hearts,
And cherish His provision, as our treasure's parts.
Deuteronomy Chapter 8, a lesson so clear,
To walk in God's ways, without fear.
And as we obey, His blessings will flow,
In ways we can't imagine, or ever know.
