A stark, high contrast close-up of a roughly shaped mountain of wet clay shaped like Icarus with his wings spread. But the still wet clay sculpture has been defaced with great sweeping strokes of passion and fury to symbolize the emotions: sorrow, despair, anguish, rage, fear, disbelief, horror all living within the kinetic evidence of the clay's ruined appearance. While it's still apparent it's Icarus, it's a mess. Stillness holds the scene.
Utinam ultra syrtem in apertum mare enatavissemus.
Fatum nostrum in manibus squalorum misericordius fuisset.
Nemo quidem dolorem meum curat; arcanum omnium apertissimum.
Oculi quicumque haec viderint, lamentationibus meis ignoscant.
