I used the word princess but really that is a myth.
But lets' talk about headdress. It is a symbol of bravery and strength. They are worn by the most influential and powerful. Only those who were well respected, like a warrior ,chief or a person being honored. They were once worn during battles. Now a days you will see them at pow wows, weddings or other special occasions.
Now lets talk about who should not wear headdresses. Basically, that is everyone else who has not earned it. It is not part of a costume. Headdresses are worn by a person who earned the right.
