In 1961 Chevrolet did a jungle expedition with three brand new rear engined Corvairs to test the cars rugged capability. The stretch of jungle between Panama and Columbia known as "The Darien Gap" was where these cars made it through. No roads, and no civilazation for months. One car was abandoned relatively close to the Columbian border, but the other two made it out. This image was supposed to represent the one that was abandoned, but it looks too nice.
