In Numbers chapter five, secrets unfold,
Mysterious truths, a story untold.
A tale of faith, of sin and doubt,
Of bitter waters and trials devout.
The law was given, a sacred decree,
To test the hearts of His chosen decree,
An offering made, to cleanse the soul,
Or reveal the guilt that took its toll.
A woman accused, a bitter trial,
Her innocence tested, no room for denial.
A potion drank, a curse or cure?
Her fate in God's hands, of that she's sure.
Numbers chapter five, a lesson profound,
Of justice, mercy, and truths profound.
For in the numbers, God's wisdom is found,
His ways mysterious, His grace renowned.
