Koi Dreams
In the hush of a summer noon,
Water hums a silver tune,
Petals drift in lazy rings,
While the koi wears sunset wings.
Orange flame, you glide so slow,
Through the garden’s gentle glow,
White peonies kiss the tide,
And whisper where your dreams may hide.
Shadows curl beneath the green,
Moonlight waits where you have been,
Every ripple writes your name,
On the water’s glassy frame
Orange flame, you glide so slow,
Through the garden’s gentle glow,
White peonies kiss the tide,
And whisper where your dreams may hide.
Breathe the stillness, let it stay,
Till the night takes day away.
