More about The Stonemason

Once upon a time there was a stonemason who was always dissatisfied with himself and his life. One fine day, when he was taking refuge, he passed by the house of a rich merchant. He looked through the open gate and saw more and more distinguished visitors. "How powerful such a merchant can be!" thought the stonemason. He was full of envy and wished he could be that rich. Then he wouldn't have to live his life like a poor stonemason.
To his utter astonishment, he suddenly turned into a wealthy merchant. He was surrounded by more splendor than he had ever dreamed of. He was envied and hated by everyone who was poorer than him. At the same time, a magnificent foot carriage was brought to his house, in the foot carriage was a high-ranking official stretched, surrounded by an army of servants and soldiers beating gongs. Even the richest man bowed before the procession. “How powerful this clerk is,” he thought. "I wish I could be a high-ranking official!"
He then became a high-ranking official. He was carried everywhere in a richly embroidered foot carriage, and people trembled at him, hated him, and bowed down to the ground before him wherever he went. The summer sun was hot and the clerk felt extremely uncomfortable in the stuffy carriage. He looked out. The sun was shining majestically in the sky and he was unaware of the clerk's existence. "What a great day!" - thought. "I wish I could be the sun!"
Then he turned into the sun, shining down on everyone with hellish power, setting the fields on fire, and the farmers cursed him. But suddenly a big black cloud rolled up and got stuck between the sun and the farmer, so the sun lost a lot of its power. "How huge is the storm cloud!" - thought. "I wish I could be a storm cloud!"
Then it turned into a huge cloud, flooding the fields and villages, to everyone's despair. Soon, however, he felt something push him with great force. It was the wind. “How strong the wind is,” he thought. "I wish I were the wind!"
Then he turned into the wind, blew the tiles off the roofs, uprooted the trees, and everyone hated and feared him wherever he whistled. But suddenly he ran into something, which no matter how hard he tried to blow away, he just stood there. It was a huge rock. "How huge is this rock!" - thought. "I wish I were a rock!"
Then he turned into a rock, bigger than anyone in the world. As he stood there, he suddenly heard a thump, the sound of a hammer, and felt himself being hit in the side. "Who can be stronger than me, the rock?" he asks. He looked down and saw a stonecutter far below him.
