In a forest deep, where tall trees lean,
Lived a furry monster, so cute and green.
With golden eyes that twinkled bright,
He’d gobble marbles through the night.
Red and blue, yellow, and lime,
He’d eat them all, one at a time.
Rolling, bouncing, what a sight!
He'd munch and crunch with pure delight.
“Oh no!” he cried, “I’m out of snacks!”
So he shook the trees and gave them whacks.
Out tumbled marbles, a rainbow spree,
And he danced with joy, wild and free.
A monster's life, so simple, so sweet,
Just marbles to munch, and no shoes on his feet.
With golden eyes and a furry grin,
He’d gobble marbles, and giggle within.
