ArtistAn unnaturally tall cat with huge amber eyes, spindly thin legs and an enormous white ruff stands beside a tiny overturned chair, its expression stern and unmistakably superior. Full cat positioned toward the right, chair and empty floor to the left, in eccentric animal portraiture and whimsical gothic character art. Mixed-media collage of oil impasto, acrylic and charcoal: raised fur strokes, a sculptural ruff collar, scratched floorboards, thick facial highlights. Palette of amber, black, ivory, muted teal and rust, with soft directional light raking across the floor and a quiet, haughty mood.
An oil painting on canvas of a stylized brown tabby cat with huge amber eyes and a large ruffled white ruff collar around its neck, standing on a light wood floor next to a small wooden chair that is lying on its side. The background wall is painted a dark blue-gray with orange and red paint spatters. The cat has thin striped legs and a bushy tail standing straight up in the air.
