A surreal dreamy mixed media painting of a young Black woman sitting in a sleek modern bathtub, submerged to her chest in iridescent, glowing soap bubbles. Textured canvas, visible brushstrokes, delicate gold leaf accents, vibrant watercolour washes, and collage elements. Soft ethereal morning light filtering through a frosted window, casting a warm glow and casting soft shadows. Dreamy pastel colour palette with deep indigos and pops of warm gold. Introspective mood, highly detailed, artistic masterpiece. Very tiny signature JKW
An oil painting depicts a young Black woman with curly brown hair pulled up in a messy updo sitting inside a large, deep, freestanding oval bathtub in a brightly lit bathroom, with soapy water filled with bubbles around her and translucent bubbles floating around the room. The woman has smooth, dark skin and is facing slightly to the right, looking down towards the water with a serene expression. Her shoulders and the top of her torso are visible above the soapy water, and her knees are bent and partially submerged in the suds. The bathtub is decorated with a mosaic pattern of various colours like blue, purple, and pink, and has gold leaf accents scattered across its surface and on the wall behind it. A silver faucet with a long, curved spout and handles is mounted on the wall above the tub, and a window behind it lets in bright, diffused light that illuminates the scene. The walls and floor are painted with abstract brushstrokes of blue, purple, pink, and yellow, creating a soft, dreamlike atmosphere. A white towel hangs on a chrome towel bar on the left wall, and another white towel hangs on a similar bar on the right wall.
