They crossed the sea, by God's mighty hand,
Their enemies vanquished, in the sandy land.
Moses and Miriam led the praise,
With tambourines and dancing, in joyful ways.
They sang of God's glory, His strength and might,
For He had brought them out of Egypt's night.
The waters parted, a path made clear,
The Israelites crossed without a fear.
Pharaoh's army, swallowed by the sea,
God's saving grace, for all to see.
The song of freedom, echoed in the air,
A testimony of God's love and care.
His faithfulness, a guiding light,
In Exodus 15, a tale of God's might.
So let us sing with hearts aglow,
Of God's redemption, His blessings bestowed.
