Abstract organic forms drifting across the picture plane, overlapping in shallow and deep layers, their contours weaving rhythm and depth like floating cellular matter under a microscope. Soft rounded shapes in muted earthy tones, ochre, sage green, dusty rose and pale blue, with gentle outlines and flat naive shapes. Crisp quality throughout, clean edges and smooth surfaces, a calm dreamlike mood. Naive art in the spirit of Cyril Orlando and Dee Nickerson, with the playful picture-book charm of Doreen Cronin and Drew Daywalt.
A digital painting shows a winter scene with a river running through a valley, snow on the ground and mountains in the background under a blue sky. In the foreground, a river flows from the upper right, curving left and then right again, eventually flowing into the lower center. The water is clear, with rocks and pebbles visible on the bottom. The riverbanks are covered in deep white snow, with some patches of brown grass and shrubs. Several small evergreen trees are scattered along the riverbank and on the hillside. In the midground, rolling hills and valleys covered in snow lead up to a majestic mountain range in the background. The mountains have sharp peaks and are heavily covered in snow, with shadows and highlights creating a sense of depth and dimension. The sky above is a gradient of blue, with wispy white clouds swirling around a bright, pale sun positioned in the upper right. The overall style is illustrative and artistic, with clean lines and a soft color palette.
