beautiful princess of Egypt, being dressed for her visit to the shrines she will pray to. She will wear a short kilt whose pleats are lined with gold so that as she moves she will spark light. A ceremonial wig of gold and blue braids will be placed on her head, and she will wear a belt knotted gold rope studded with tiny carnelian ankhs. A heavy jeweled collar will be placed on her neck, and gold bracelets are slipped onto her arms. Her palms are painted with red henna, her nails toenails also, her golden sandals studded with jasper are put on her feet after the henna dries. Lastly, her face is made up. Kolh is applied to her eyes, then she is powdered with gold dust all over her face. Lastly, the Cobra Coronet is slipped onto her head. She stands as a goddess above her people.
