Artistshow image as an embroidery on a wool sweater containing the embroidery with a white wool background, worn by a teenage daughter standing in a sewing room next to her mother who is sitting, holding embroidery needles, a ball of turquoise wool, and an embroidery hoop. The wool embroidery contains the same colour scheme as the patch, but takes up most of the front of the young daughter's sweater.
One day, mom decided to knit her daughter a sweater containing an embroidery of the main image contained in Emerson, Lake and Palmer's Tarkus album. We all knew behind that quiet exterior that her mom was heavy into seventies' prog rock. They say she led a double life. Daughter doesn't know what to think yet, but she'll go along with it, all for love.
Seriously, this is more of a memory of mine back when I once ran a blog which once had a regular installment on strange, quirky and weird covers of record albums. I didn't have so much of a problem with the Tarkus album cover, as with a later recording by a different rock band whose record cover had an embroidery of the Tarkus armadillo/tank thing on a wool sweater worn by a young woman. I thought it was the strangest thing anyone could embroider. And that record cover is lost to the memory hole of the Internet and I can't find the image. For those who are curious, I can find the blog article on the wayback machine (), but the images appear to be gone. I just hope I haven't offended any ELP fans.
AI Blurb: A medium shot depicts a woman with reddish-brown hair tied back in a ponytail and a girl with long blonde hair. The woman is seated, holding blue yarn and knitting needles, as she looks down at her hands. The girl is standing, wearing a white sweater with a graphic of an animal in a blanket or quilt, and is looking intently at the woman hands with a slight smile. The background is a cozy room filled with shelves holding various items like yarn, spools, and pottery. Light streams in from a window to the right, illuminating the scene.
