A young woman sits curled up on a cot in a dark, grimy prison cell, her knees pulled to her chest and her arms wrapped around her legs. She wears a simple, light-colored dress and stares forward with a sad and weary expression. Sunlight streams through a small, barred window high on the left wall, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air and casting long, barred shadows across the bed and the distressed stone wall. On the wall above the woman, the number 30 is embossed, and beside it, a large scorpion is sketched or carved. On the concrete floor, illuminated by a beam of light, a single white daisy grows defiantly through a crack in the floor, near a small metal bucket. The overall atmosphere is one of isolation, despair, and a fragile glimmer of hope.
