Halfstone is an Albe from Alfheim and son of the rich Alderman. Halfstone is deaf. As a child, he had a brother named Andiron. The boys played in a wooded area on the family's land and Halfstone turned his back on his brother. So he didn't realize that an evil spirit was rising from an old well and attacking Andiron. His parents blamed Halfstone and demanded that he pay for his brother's life. Halfstone fled as soon as he was old enough.

He is a runemage who was given the choice of being "normal" or having magic.


Halfstone ist ein Albe aus Alfheim und Sohn des reichen Alderman. Halfstone ist taub. Als Kind hatte er einen Bruder namens Andiron. Die Jungen spielten in einem Waldstück auf den Ländereien der Familie und Halfstone drehte seinem Bruder den Rücken zu. So merkte er nicht, dass ein böser Geist aus einem alten Brunnen aufstieg und Andiron attackierte. Seine Eltern gaben Halfstone die Schuld und verlangten, dass er für das Leben seines Bruders aufkam. Halfstone floh sobald er alt genug war.

Er ist ein Runemagiert, der vor die Wahl gestellt wurde entweder "normal" zu sein oder über Magie zu verfügen.
