Kara is the Navigator, but not in the traditional sense. She doesn’t read maps — she creates them. She doesn’t chart courses — she weaves them.
Her job is to chart the paths between the waking world and the dreamscapes, traversing realms where the rules of physics and time are more suggestions than laws. She navigates the ship through the ephemeral fabric of dreams, slipping between worlds with ease, guided by intuition and fragments of forgotten futures.
She communicates with the ship as though it were an old friend, her whispers to its metallic heart producing subtle shifts that redirect their course through the ever-shifting labyrinth of the mind.
Kara doesn’t speak much, preferring cryptic gestures and strange humming sounds that seem to echo through the ship’s hull. Her words, when they do come, feel like riddles you almost understand, like a song that plays in the background of your dreams. The crew has learned to follow her guidance without asking too many questions — a skill Kara finds quite valuable.
What’s certain is this: She is bound to the ship in ways no one fully understands, her soul intertwined with its journey.
