Emotional, moody, absolute peace. Realistic and cartoon drawing blend. Close view of a woman in a blissful haze, half napping on a wooden table in a cozy living room gone silent, in a sturdy stone house where life happens and sleeps. She's sitting before doing the last chores of the day, her head resting on her elbow, one arm extended in front of her with her cheek on it and the other with a pendant close to her eyes. She's tired but happy in her own way. Part of a door closed in the background, a breeeze quietly moving the flame of an oil lamp thrifted at the market nearby, only source of light. The woman is in her mid to end twenties, French. Auburn / dark-strawberry hair (muted, not flame-bright), half-up and coming loose. The ends of the hair are white and rainbow, remnants of eons gone (for now). Fair, warm pink-toned skin with light freckling across the nose and cheeks. Smallish, youthful, cute rather than striking, a soft, present, delicate lived-in face, not frail, not gaunt. Piercing ice grey-blue watchful eyes, fixated on the pendant, glistening from the lamp. She's wearing a loose light lilac blouse, white shorts and lace sandals. Back, legs, neck, warmly lit, maybe a bit dusty from the outside. Not posing. Faint sleepless shadow under the eyes; some mascara and liner to remove; a tiny drawn mark under one eye, soft and imperfect. Hazy golden and night palette. Some furry long-hair sleeping friend nearby. Traces of life gone quiet. Intimate and unguarded, out-of-time and timeless summer evening, hidden melancholy. Masterpiece, by eryn.
