ArtistA digital painting depicts an Eastern European landscape on a bright summer autumn day. Two beautiful young women, a blonde representing Russia and a brunette representing the Ukraine, are centred in the frame. They are wearing traditional Slavic folk costumes and are embracing in a kiss of peace. Russian and Ukrainian flags fly in the background with a rainbow overhead, and the whole is surrounded with a wreath of poppies, creating an atmosphere of epic fantasy adventure with clean, vibrant colours and sharp detail. A caption reads DIVERSITY SATURDAY 7TH NOVEMBER 2026. PEACE BETWEEN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE NOW!
Because of Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, November is often regarded in Britain as the "month of peace", so I thought I would make this the subject of this month;s Diversity Saturday offering.
Digital art, a low-angle medium shot of two young women kissing in a sunny field of red poppies, a blond-haired woman on the left wearing a long white blouse with intricate red embroidery on the collar and cuffs, and a long red skirt, and a brunette-haired woman on the right wearing a long white blouse with intricate red embroidery on the collar and cuffs, and a long blue skirt, standing amidst a field of red poppies, embracing and kissing gently, with a rainbow arched in the clear blue sky, a Russian flag waving on the left and a Ukrainian flag waving on the right, in the background a rolling green landscape with a few small trees and a small church-like building, framing the scene with vibrant red poppies on both sides, the lighting is bright and sunny, highlighting the vibrant colors of the dresses and the flags, text at the bottom says: DIVERSITY SATURDAY 7TH NOVEMBER 2026. PEACE BETWEEN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE NOW!
