More about God's Glory Descends - Exodus 40 Poem

The tabernacle completed at last,
A dwelling for God, unsurpassed,
Moses followed God's commands,
Assembled all with reverent hands.
The ark of the covenant, in its place,
With mercy seat and cherubim's grace,
The table for bread, the lampstand bright,
The altar of incense, a fragrant delight.
The bronze altar, the basin filled,
The courtyard set, God's presence willed,
The priests consecrated, garments worn,
As Moses followed God's plan, well-torn.
Then God's glory descended, a radiant cloud,
Covering the tabernacle, like a shroud,
A sign of His presence, a symbol of grace,
Guiding His people, in every place.
Exodus 40, a culmination divine,
God's presence dwelling, a treasure to find,
His glory leading, His people's guide,
A sacred sanctuary, where they abide.
