In Jericho's shadow, they stood,
Joshua led with courage and good.
The Jordan parted, a miraculous sight,
Their faith in God, burning bright.
Circumcision, a covenant renewed,
God's promises, forever pursued.
Feasting on Passover's fare,
Grateful hearts, lifted in prayer.
The manna ceased, a land they claimed,
Their journey, God's hand had framed.
The Captain of the Lord's host appeared,
Joshua knelt, humbled and revered.
With God's guidance, they marched ahead,
Jericho's walls, they would soon tread.
Joshua followed, without a frown,
As the walls came crashing down.
Joshua's faith, unwavering and true,
God's power, made known anew.
In Chapter Five, a triumphant tale,
Joshua's courage, shall never fail.
