Enceladus is the sixth-largest moon of Saturn and one of the most geologically active bodies in the Solar System. Discovered by William Herschel in 1789, it orbits within Saturn's E ring and is the primary source of its material. With a diameter of approximately 504 kilometers, it is notably bright, reflecting nearly 100% of sunlight due to its surface of fresh water ice. The under surface ocean is caused by tidal streching of the rock core that causes heat to melt the surface ice and fire powerful geysers into space of ice crystals that make up the E ring.
