On the morning of Labor Day 1971, I came into this world. I entered as a red baby, meaning I was red and swollen from getting stuck in the birth canal. I got stuck because the delivery doctor was too busy talking philosophy with my Father to notice I was coming. So with the use of forceps I was extracted, big bright red and swollen. To compliment my red appearance, I had full head of long jet-black hair down to my shoulders. My Mom has said many times that I was the baby that hardly ever cried. I like to think that's because I was too busy singing. Music and singing were some of my most favorite thing when I was very young.
