**Condemned**

His choices forged her fate in sorrow’s chains,
She wanders through the wreckage of her soul.
A rat at her feet, a symbol of her pains,
In the abyss where self and heart are whole.

In shadows deep where love’s truth falters,
She faces the dungeons of her own despair.
Tears wash away what hope once sheltered,
While echoes of his freedom haunt the air.

Her love was a burden, too vast to bear,
A heart too pure for him to ever hold.
Condemned for her goodness, left in despair,
In the depths of her sorrow, her spirit grows cold.
